Under the Squeegee: Rubi Jones

For those of you wondering how our models always seem so effortlessly coiffed, meet Rubi Jones: the hairstylist extraordinaire behind our latest shoot. Rubi is an established New York hairdresser and author who has styled hair for everything from ad campaigns and magazine editorials to each season's fashion weeks in New York and Paris. Magnanimous as ever, she still finds some time for us little people and takes appointments at the Little Axe Salon once a month. Rubi's debut book, The Art of Hair: the Ultimate Guide to Braids, Buns, Curls, and More, has been translated into five languages and be found at Urban Outfitters and major bookstores.
